Business Intelligence takes the reports and findings of the Data Scientists, Analysis, and Visualization specialists and translates them into actionable findings that help guide a company forward.

As a Business Intelligence specialist, it is critical that you are a good communicator, as you will be working closely with the rest of the data department to understand and generate reports, which will then need to be concisely and accurately presented to executives. Business Intelligence specialists develop methodologies to improve the systems that collect, report, and mine data at their company. They are also responsible for researching and critically analyzing the data that is provided to pave a way forward for their company.
