EMBEDDED ENGINEERING

Embedded Software Engineers are responsible for implementing advanced and updated software to an organization’s embedded devices and systems. These engineers are also responsible for checking and working on the efficiency and health of the embedded system in order to verify it is running correctly. Embedded Engineers provide analysis of systems to other departments, and work closely with developers and IT professionals to help support and optimize the embedded system that they are focusing on.

As an embedded engineer, applicants are expected to be proficient in developing and implementing software for embedded systems. This includes working with QA departments to ensure that the most quality product is being installed and optimized for user experience, providing post-production support when necessary, and work closely with hardware design and development teams. Embedded engineers also need to have the skills to develop, code, test, and troubleshoot the system software and diagnose issues within the hardware to keep embedded systems running at top capacity.
