Agile Business Analyst/Project Manager

Our partner is looking for someone to join their team who has web and mobile application experience to lead projects and elicit, analyze, validate and document the requirements through all stages of the project effort (small to large projects) while facilitating communication between the business, technology and support teams.

This PM/BA will work in lock step with the Product Manager and UI Designer to execute the strategic plan. For each project this person will create and drive the scope, timing and detailed plan of the project, making sure the project is progressing as quickly/efficiently as possible per team capacity. The PM/BA will also be responsible for writing user stories for each project and working with the Technical Product Owner to prioritize them into appropriate sprints as well as lead sprint planning sessions when needed.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor degree in a Business, Information Systems, Computer Science discipline or equivalent technical work experience required
  • Seasoned IT or Business professional with a minimum of 7 years business analysis, technical experience, customer management, and/or technology implementations
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, agile environment
  • Significant experience managing small-medium sized projects 
  • Proven ability to quickly learn new business domains and technical applications
  • Significant experience with requirement elicitation, requirements documentation, and requirements management
  • Direct customer interface experience (working with client directly on project tasks; managing client expectations)
  • Experience using productivity tools in a work setting (Word, Excel, Power Point, Visio, JIRA)
