Office365 Administrator

Our client is looking for an administrator who is comfortable working in a constantly changing environment and who will be a champion for the adoption of Office365 services and support in their organization. The Office365 Administrator will be responsible for the administration, licensing, and deployment of new and existing services that are part of the platform. You will create business cases where Office365 products can integrate and enhance operations, develop and maintain Office 365 technical roadmaps and governance documentation, and provide strategy, guidance and communications about the deployment and configuration of new services and upgrades to existing services.


  • Manage Office365 services and infrastructure (on-premise, cloud, & hybrid environments)
  • Document changes to the systems using best practices
  • Maintain a highly secure system through proper configuration and system access monitoring
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with user access to cloud services
  • Maintain a proactive understanding of upcoming changes to the platforms to assist with user change management
  • Monitor and communicate to stakeholders about the performance of the services
  • Ensure service delivery meets the business requirements (based on defined SLAs)
  • Assist with the creation of policies around the proper use of Office365 services and support
  • Collaborate with other teams to facilitate issue resolution
  • Support Skype for Business
  • Supporting the sync and sharing of large volumes of data within OneDrive
  • Exporting usage and licensing information through Office365 reporting
  • Support of Office365 mobile applications


  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/related discipline
  • 5+ years’ experience in systems support
  • Working knowledge of network technology Ability to finish multiple tasks on schedule
  • Self-motivated
  • Advanced skills managing Office365 with PowerShell
  • Experience in both Office365 and third-party services for Azure AD user management
  • Knowledgeable in supporting Office desktop applications
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Exchange and Active Directory
  • Knowledge of Office365 services, including Skype, SharePoint Online, Flow, Delve, OneDrive, Power BI, Yammer, etc.
  • Works with the customer and customer’s satisfaction in mind
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Programming experience
  • Familiarity with multi-platform environments
