Hybrid Project Manager/Business Analyst

We have an exciting and challenging role available with a client of ours. This position will join a Software Development group developing complex information systems that support their customized marketing solutions offerings. This role will serve as both the face of IT to the business, while managing the project delivery. They're currently in the process of transition to Agile so this position will take on more of the role of Scrum Master/Product Owner as time goes on.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive the transition to an Agile environment while managing projects
    • Lead Scrum stand-ups
    • Organize sprint objectives
    • Develop user stories
    • Prioritize and organize the backlog
    • Perform demos for key stakeholders
  • Facilitate effective communication between the business and IT
    • Act as the business’s main point of contact with the IT group and assure their needs are met
    • Help the business understand the technology groups capabilities and limitations
    • Shadow the business’s work efforts in order to better understand their pain points

Requirements: 

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Project Management and Business Analysis roles
  • Past experience helping groups adopt Agile Scrum methodologies to develop software
  • Comfortable engaging with non-technical audiences and translating their needs into technical requirements
  • Proven success driving the development of enterprise information systems
  • Ability to lead demonstrations and same page conversations
  • High-attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal skills
