eCommerce Digital Analyst

The eCommerce Digital Analyst will develop interactive analysis and continue ongoing analysis for key strategic recommendations on digital optimization. The candidate will be playing a crucial role with advanced digital analytics, including attribution modeling and basket-mix analysis.

Responsibilities:

  • Enhance and optimize website according to prioritized list
  • Evolve automated dashboards (Power BI with SQL and Big Query) to keep pace with near real-time KPIs
  • Improve automated reporting and analysis with 3rd party eCommerce data
  • Identify data needs and drive methods and best practices for the data layer
  • Review eCommerce trends, results, competitive context, emerging opportunities and optimization ideas on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis
  • Provide, quantify, and model strategic recommendations for the business and product enhancements
  • Effectively communicate technical analyses and eCommerce teams, including interactive analyses
  • Build and maintain retail-driven, web digital KPI goals, partnering with internal and external strategists
  • Improve performance with automated reporting on performance and budget recommendations
  • Identify new trends and opportunities through exploratory analyses by blending data
  • Drive business decisions, business strategy and product management activities through eCommerce data and analytics
  • Provide continuous improvement to multi-source data architecture and analytics procedures, systems, and workflows
  • Keep up-to-date on eCommerce analytics and marketing tools and make recommendations

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in statistics, mathematics, computer science, or related degree
  • 5 or more years’ experience in eCommerce Analytics
  • Experience with SQL, Google Analytics, Google Optimize, Tag Management and Data Visualization, Tealium IQ and/or Audience Stream
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with many different teams
  • Experience creating financial business cases for digital optimization
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience with Tableau and/or Alteryx a plus
  • Marketing measurement and analysis experience a plus
