Customer Integration Engineer

These are qualities that we're looking for in the next Customer Integration Engineer for our client. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and will support their colleagues and peers throughout the organization. This position is a support liaison between the company and their customers, providing quality technical support, as well as project management for complex customer integrations. The Customer Integration Engineer provides hands-on technical & integration support to our client’s customers and will be responsible for learning the company's customers' technical and product requirements, answer questions regarding functionality, and configure and deploy the company’s products, assisting them with the integration process.

The successful candidate will be able to identify process and tool improvements and create/modify existing tools to streamline integration timelines. Engineers must have an eagerness to learn and take on new challenges, while thinking about how they could improve the customer experience and products. The Customer Integration Engineer is expected to assist the Customer Integration Analyst and Sales team in driving key initiatives and ensuring the long-term success of our client and their customers, and may be required to represent the team in several other functional areas within the company.


  • Work with Sales to understand customer requirements to build/deliver solutions using our client’s products and services
  • Work with Sales to deliver comprehensive implementation plans that outline the objectives, problems and necessary steps required for clients to successfully integrate their products
  • Technically lead/advise best practices for customer integration of APIs, Hosted Solutions and other products then hands-on assist customers with integration activities
  • Act as project manager for integration, assisting Account Management as necessary
  • Work closely with Product Management to identify product, process and documentation improvements to maximize ease of product integration
  • Actively contribute ideas for software improvements and solutions to technology challenges
  • Show a passion for continued learning, staying abreast of new technology and trends
  • Work independently and collaboratively with other engineers


  • Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or related field (equivalent experience acceptable)
  • 4+ years of software experience
  • Object-oriented programming experience
  • The ability to interface with external clients
  • Knowledge of RESTful APIs
  • Experience working with Mac/Linux environment
  • Working knowledge of sports data uses
  • Working knowledge of Internet technologies and API integration
  • Analytical and methodical problem solver
