Senior IT Recruiter

Our business is growing, and ESP is looking to add experienced technical recruiters to our team.

Our technical recruiters' primary focus is to identify and engage passive and active mid-to-senior level technology professionals for our clients’ software development lifecycle project needs. ESP IT partners directly with hiring managers, so you'll be able to know and understand the companies you're representing on ESP's behalf, and get quick and specific feedback to pass along to IT consultants.

Job Responsibilities: 

  • Recruiting passive and active mid to senior level and executive level technology candidates for contract, and contract-to-hire roles as well as building a pipeline of candidates who will satisfy both current and future client requirements.
  • Using creative techniques for identifying top-quality talent in target technology areas; conducting thorough interviews to ensure candidates are well-suited from both technology and soft skills perspectives.
  • Developing strong rapport and lasting relationships with prospective contract candidates.
  • Working in collaboration with account executives to successfully place contract candidates.
  • Coaching and guiding candidates through the interview process, ensuring a good fit for both the candidate and client, and ultimately negotiating offers of contract or direct employment.
  • Understanding the technical requirements and methodologies in the IT field. This includes but is not limited to the following areas of technology: software/ application development and architecture, project management, business analysis, network/ systems architecture and support, business intelligence, database administration and design, ERP, and quality assurance.
  • Managing and tracking candidates in our recruiting database.
  • Serving as a mentor and coach to other technical recruiters on the ESP team.
  • Uphold and be an advocate for ESP IT’s Blueprint

Job Requirements: 

  • 4 or more years of dedicated IT recruiting experience in the Twin Cities marketplace.
  • Familiarity with a variety of techniques to source top IT professionals.
  • Team player with a willingness to coach, mentor, and encourage other members of the ESP team.
  • Ability to listen with the intent to understand the career needs and aspirations of our candidates.
  • Strong sense of urgency and commitment to success.
  • Self-motivated and driven individual, with the ability to work both as a team member and independently.
  • Demonstrated success in placing IT candidates in direct hire roles is required.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ethical individual who operates with a high degree of integrity and is committed to delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.
  • A people-person with strong relationship-building skills.
  • Sound business sense and judgment.
  • 4-year degree preferred.
